<BR>Job Description:<BR><BR> Recent or <BR>>> extensive VxWorks is a requirement. <BR>>>. This software developer will be responsible for the development, <BR>>> integration, and testing of software applications used in support of <BR>>> the GO UAS program. <BR>>>. Integrate and validate software for Real Time Embedded control systems <BR>>> and/or application software. <BR>>>. Develop simulation and interfacing applications for the testing of <BR>>> Embedded software. <BR>>>. Participate in generating testing requirements as well as developing <BR>>> simulation software requirements. <BR>>>. Will work closely with a small team of software developers supporting <BR>>> R & D programs. <BR>>> <BR>>> QUALIFICATIONS AND NECESSARY BACKGROUND: <BR>>>. BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Advanced <BR>>> engineering degree a plus. <BR>>>. 10+ years experience in Embedded and/or application software lifecycle <BR>>> development including: <BR>>> o defining and documenting requirements <BR>>> o Object Oriented software architecture and design <BR>>> o programming, building and testing <BR>>> o source code configuration management <BR>>>. Fluent in C and/or C++ snf knowledge of COCOA very desirable<BR>>>. Experience with object-oriented development and model driven <BR>>> development tools <BR>>>. Experience with VxWorks RTOS and WindRiver Workbench required <BR>>>. Technical hands-on experience with the following standards are required <BR>>> o Serial communications protocols (RS232, RS422, USB, etc) <BR>>> o Network communications (TCP/IP, UDP, etc) <BR>>> o Aircraft communication protocols (1553, IEEE 1394, ARINC 429, etc) <BR>>>. Experience in avionics Embedded systems <BR>>>. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills <BR>>>. Government project experience <BR>>>.
