DOCUMENTUM SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Position Description


The candidate is expected to perform Documentum administrative activities which includes analyzing, scoping, and delivering Documentum deployments and releases. The administrator is also expected to troubleshoot and provide corrective actions to scheduled jobs and services, map mitigation steps in technology solutions and provide technical support for production support events.
Skills required:

* Bachelors degree equivalent or above
* Proven Documentum product knowledge (see above)
* Strong knowledge of DQL , API , UNIX scripting, performance tuning, troubleshooting
* Strong knowledge about multi server environments
* Knowledge with WebSphere application server and deploying web applications.

* Experience using VSS for version control
* Past operational experience working for companies and teams in Enterprise Content Management is a big plus.
* Experience with .NET and Java Programming is preferred, but not required.
* Must be familiar with various web and application server technologies including IIS, Apache, and Websphere as well as how the components of the
system function (i.e. hardware, operating system, database, web server, application server, clustering, LDAP, firewalls) within a Documentum architecture
* Must have experience with operational maintenance and troubleshooting of the Documentum application architecture
* Highly Analytical Skills and detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all management levels
* Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and work independently, without close supervision
